Description
tuberosa - North American native bearing bright orange clusters of flowers that are 'butterfly magnets' and Monarch larvae food source; blooms on 2'-3' stems in early to mid summer-fall; whz 3-9.

Cozy Companions - We are not perennial growers, but we have been using all types of plant material in our gardens with bulbs and have recommended doing so for over 20 years! We have friends who grow plants in the U.S. and have offered them to us for our catalogue. Most will take a season or two to get established.  We find it easy to plug them in with planted bulbs to form shoes and socks, carpets and plant combinations. We're sure you'll enjoy them in your garden, especially when you see how they extend and expand your blooming season! Deep plugs (2 1/4" x ~ 4") unless otherwise noted.

Our pollinators are so important to the sustainability of our gardens and food crops for insect and birds and if each of us participates in healthy gardening practices and chooses some of the pollinator attracting plants, we can collectively make a HUGE difference.
