Description
Dahlia Gallery LaTour is a compact plant covered with lavender-pink flowers; very dark green foliage; beautiful in containers or in the garden; 1'-2'.

The  GALLERY GROUP of Dahlias are compact plants with many flowers that make excellent subjects for container planting and for the front of the sunny flower borders with a long season of bloom.

Native to Mexico and Central America, dahlias provide us with more pleasure than almost any other summer bulb.  They produce an abundance of wonderful flowers perfect for 'gift giving flower arrangements' throughout early summer and again in late summer until frost. If they are picked for arrangements, these 'cut and come again' plants require almost no care, they appear to be pest resistant and they come in a myriad of colors. They are happiest in full sun but will tolerate light shade. Top-sized tuber clusters; approx. 1 per sq. ft.; whz 8-10; have overwintered in our whz 7 gardens with extra winter mulch and excellent drainage among our daffodils and tulips; most flowers are 2"-3" across and plants are 1'-2' tall unless otherwise stated; top-sized clustered tubers.

Our pollinators are so important to the sustainability of our gardens and food crops for insect and birds and if each of us participates in healthy gardening practices and chooses some of the pollinator attracting plants, we can collectively make a HUGE difference.
