Darwin Hybrid Mixture - rainbow of brilliant colors, blooming all at once creating an unbelievable show and a wonderful perennial, cutting garden; mid spring.

The peacocks and parrots of the bulb world, tulips offer are more sizes, shapes and colors than you can imagine for any type of garden design scheme. Divided into 15 divisions usually depending on shape, bloom time or heritage.Plant 4 _ their height deep (8"-10" for regular sized tulips; 4"-6" for small tulips); 12+cm bulbs unless otherwise noted. DARWIN HYBRID TULIPS are defined by the RGBA as: "Single flowered cultivars, long stemmed, midseason flowering. Originally the result of hybridization between cultivars of the darwin group with Tulip fosteriana and the result of hybridization between other cultivars and botanical tulips, which have the same habit and in which the wild plant is not evident." Best for perennial bedding, cutting, forcing. Mid spring bloomers that are very reliable with long lasting flowers. We regard this as the longest term perennial tulip group.
