Description
Bletilla yokohama 'Kate' has yellow margins in the lower lip; grown right here in our greenhouse; 30"-40"; winter hardiness zone 6-10. This item is a PLANT, and will arrive in ~4" pots from tissue culture. (These are best grown in 70°+ soil or start indoors ahead of time on a heat mat).

These terrestrial orchids native to E. Asia are lovely in the garden and make long-lasting cut flowers with 5-10 clusters of corsage-type flowers on each stem. Prefers well-drained, rich soil, sun to light shade; some of the newer types are sports of others and sometimes revert back to the original type.
