Description
Purple Bird - violet purple tubular flowers; a new one for us from our friend and colleague, John de Goede.

These shriveled, funny-looking little tubers produce amazing moisture tolerant, dainty woodland plants with glaucous fernlike leaves and longish, tubular flowers with tiny orchid-like tips; makes colorful mounds in the garden; mid-late spring; 6+cm; 4"-5"; whz 5-8.
