In order for bulbs to thrive, they must be planted before the ground freezes. Both Brent and Becky recommend that only those planting in zones 7, 8, 9 and 10 order bulbs this late in the season.

If you decide to place an order, be aware that your order will not be shipped until the beginning to mid-December.

Galanthus elwesii Mount Everest - large white flowers with broad, gray green leaves; easy to force; 6"-8"; 8/9 cm.

Lovely, nodding, 3 lobed, bell-shaped, clear white, fragrant flowers; inner segments, resembling a corona, often green-tipped; blooms here in the late fall, throughout the winter and into spring; narrow, upright, linear, glaucous foliage; good for rock gardens, woodlands and fronts of borders; performs best in shade in rich, well-drained soil; critter proof; naturalizes in good conditioins; 10 per sq. ft.; 6/+cm unless otherwise noted; whz 3-8.
