nivalis 'Viridi-apice' - white flowers with inner segments green tipped and outer segments green blotched; more robust than nivalis; 8"-10"; (5+cm).

Lovely, nodding, 3 lobed, bell-shaped, clear white, fragrant flowers; inner segments, resembling a corona, often green-tipped; blooms here in the late fall and throughout the winter; narrow, upright, linear, glaucous foliage; good for rock gardens, woodlands and fronts of borders; performs best in shade in rich, well-drained soil; 10 per sq. ft.; whz 3-8.
