Glorious in a container and in the garden; requires full sun and well-drained soil; 1 per sq. ft.; topsized; whz 8-10, but will overwinter in whz 7 in a protected location with extra mulch and well drained soil; blooms mid-late summer; grows up to 6'; heirloom 1902; variable.
