Description
Floristan 'Alba' - zillions of little white florets decorate these 12"-24" spikes; great companions to any other type of sun loving summer plant.

Brightly colored, bottlebrush-like flowers which bloom from top to bottom, appear on 2'-3' spikes in early to mid summer. This adaptable American native with foliage resembling tufts of grass is excellent in the perennial garden combined with other plants like Oriental lilies or naturalized on dry hillsides or moist meadows. It is widely used in the cut flower industry and is also frequently visited in the garden by butterflies and other pollinators; top size or 14/16 cm corms produce multiple stems; 5-6 per sq. ft.; whz 3-8.

Our pollinators are so important to the sustainability of our gardens and food crops for insect and birds and if each of us participates in healthy gardening practices and chooses some of the pollinator attracting plants, we can collectively make a HUGE difference.
