Description
Musa acuminata Zebrina - (aka. 'Rojo', sumatrana, blood banana)green leaves with burgundy wine colored markings on the top and red beneath; does well in containers where it will stay smaller, and in the garden; 6'-8'; winter hardiness zone 9-11; full to part sun. This item is a PLANT, and will arrive in ~4" pots from tissue culture. (These are best grown in 70°+ soil or start indoors ahead of time on a heat mat).

This huge, luscious plant has given us such pleasure in our tropical garden and in containers; it give the perfect backdrop for many other smaller tropical plants; thrives during hot, humid summers.
