Description
Tulip Apricot Pride is a beautiful blend of light apricot and peach; sport of T. Ollioules. This tulip will be beautiful in the garden and in arrangements. Tulip Apricot Pride blooms mid spring and is 16"-20" tall.

The peacocks and parrots of the bulb world, tulips offer are more sizes, shapes and colors than you can imagine for any type of garden design scheme. Divided into 15 divisions usually depending on shape, bloom time or heritage.Plant 4x their height deep (8"-10" for regular sized tulips; 4"-6" for small tulips); 12+cm bulbs unless otherwise noted. DARWIN HYBRID TULIPS are defined by the RGBA as: "Single flowered cultivars, long stemmed, midseason flowering. Originally the result of hybridization between cultivars of the darwin group with Tulip fosteriana and the result of hybridization between other cultivars and botanical tulips, which have the same habit and in which the wild plant is not evident." Best for perennial bedding, cut flowers and companion planting with other bulbs, perennials and annuals; big and bold, the 'gentle giants of the garden'. Mid spring bloomers that force well; very reliable, long lasting flowers; we regard this as the 'longest term perennial' tulip group; whz 3-9; mid spring.
