Description
Tulip Paul Scherer is a late blooming Single Late tulip bulb that is the darkest tulip we’ve seen to date. Tulip Paul Scherer is perfect for that ‘area of shade’ in the full sun garden. Tulip Paul Scherer is long stemmed and is a great cut flower. Like all tulipa, tulip bulbs are from the Liliaceae family. These fall planted tulip bulbs require full sun and average soil. Tulip Paul Scherer blooms 16"- 18" tall and is good for winter hardiness zones 3-7. Tulips are incredibly diverse, and Tulip Paul Scherer is great for contrasting white, yellow or pink flowers in the garden!

The peacocks and parrots of the bulb world, tulips offer are more sizes, shapes and colors than you can imagine for any type of garden design scheme. They are an incredible source of inexpensive color for the garden. Almost every color in the spectrum is available except true blue. Intensity of the colors sometimes varies according to climate and even from one season to another. Divided into 15 divisions usually depending on shape, bloom time or heritage.Plant 4x their height deep (8"-10" for regular sized tulips; 4"-6" for small tulips); 12+cm bulbs unless otherwise noted.
