Description
candida - creamy white flowers; yellow stamens and green throat; prolific bloomer; one of the hardiest.

Native to Texas, Mexico, Colombia and Guatemala, these starry, upfacing, crocus-like flowers appear several times a season, especially after a rain on 6"-12" stems. The main show, which is generally in August-September. These pest proof bulbs don't seem to be picky about the soil, but they are happier in full sun; will grow in pots in the water, too; top sized bulbs; 8-10 per sq. ft.; whz 7-10.
