Caladium -
We can't say enough good things about how fabulous caladiums are in our part shade to full shade garden. They are one of the most satisfactory summer bulbs we have. Their leaves even make a good backdrop for cut flower arrangements! Just remember that they may rot if planted too early in COLD soil. Seventy degree soil or warmer is best! You can pre-plant them indoors with bottom heat to get them started earlier if you need to.
